Jürgen von Wechmar’s Sunset Recording Studios is highly regarded as one of South Africa’s premiere, high-end residential recording studios, geared for song writing, music production, recording and mixing. The studio is the perfect space for songwriters and artists to be inspired and get their creative juices flowing.
The studio complex is located on Wechmarshof Estate, 6km outside Stellenbosch, Western Cape, South Africa and access is by invitation only to secure the privacy of our clients.
In conjunction with the studio complex we also offer luxurious accommodation and world class amenities including private chef catering, in-house shuttle services and bespoke free-time activities.
Nestled in the heart of the Banhoek Winelands, the 20ha nature estate is home to free roaming game, abundant insect and bird life as well as a variety of indigineos flora.
Over the years we have built up a comprehensive network of local music industry professionals, artists and musicians, who supports us and our clients for any collaborations, recording sessions and camp style projects.
